Parsons Landscapes has been involved with grounds maintenance of historic properties for over 25 years. Operating from three separate hubs across the Southwest of England, the company manages a large number of sites for English Heritage and the National Trust, ranging from Pendennis Castle in Cornwall to Stonehenge in Wiltshire. These sites are diverse in nature and include castles, hill forts, barrows and ancient earthworks. A particular knowledge and awareness of the environmental requirements of sites of this nature is paramount. Close liaison with clients is equally essential to ensure that all works are carried out sensitively and with due appreciation of the historical importance of each site. The creation of wild flower meadows, the renovation and maintenance of moats, castle banks and ancient hedgerows as well as general planting and landscaping are on-going requirements of these contracts.
